Bloc is our collection of house basic blanks, available for all brands. The best way to develop any style is to start with a block. By starting with our collection of basics, designers can more readily achieve their desired final product. If you are looking to produce a basic style, starting off with one of our “blocs” will consolidate and expedite the process. Crafted from 100% natural threads and fibers, with fabrics milled here in Los Angeles, our blanks are perfect for displaying your company’s visuals and messaging. What is a “block”?  

A tool used by pattern-drafters, a “block” is the most basic shape of any garment - such as Front Bodice, Back Bodice, Front Skirt, Back Skirt, and Sleeve. Blocks, or slopers, are drafted using body measurements. Once drafted, blocks are used as the base-shape for a style and manipulated to create different designs.
