It is crucial for long-term designer satisfaction and quality control to clearly and comprehensively conceptualize styles and outline product specs in advance. By executing these planning practices, our clients move forward effectively with ease and efficiency.

  • Our Design Review process prepares creatives of all backgrounds for Development and Production. The best thing you can do to support successful product design is thoughtful and thorough preparation. No matter whom you partner with for those practical services, it is important that you have worked out the conceptual and technical details of your product in advance. This precursory process aids in efficient progression relative to your goals, as well as investment across time and capital.

  • Yes! Our clients own all original work produced with the help of our team; all work is transferrable as needed.

    Rule DD retains the rights to all original industry templates and reference sheets shared with clients from their in-house library.

  • We do our best to continue where other partners left off whenever possible. In order to maintain quality control, our team must review all outside work in advance of onboarding.

    Updates may be necessary before we can advance outside work.

  • Small-batch production refers to any order of 300 units per style (UPS), or less. We specialize in domestic small-batch production by offering a minimum order quantity (MOQ) of 25 UPS with price breaks at 50, 100, 200, and 400 UPS. Restrictions for maximum number of sizes and colors allowed will vary across these tiers.

  • We believe slow fashion means valuing the process just as much as its product. We put people first, including our team and community of partners. We do not rush, taking pride and holding appreciation for all work which contributes to creating our apparel. We respect the artistry of making, allowing grace when needed.

  • Fashion itself is inherently based on production and consumption; there is no perfect nor singular way to seek sustainability.
