Our comprehensive processes are propelled by personal creative expression and back-to-basics methodology.
Rule Design & Development began in 2018 with the goal of sharing a realized apparel design and development experience on a firsthand basis. We opened with select service offerings including material sourcing, pattern-drafting, sample-making, and private fitting sessions.
Over time, Rule DD expanded to provide full-service packages inclusive of all technical requisites across apparel design, development, and production processes. In 2024, Rule DD refined the focus of our service offerings from hands-on implementation to high-level conceptual consultation.
We support designers of all backgrounds to achieve creative catharsis through a custom journey of personal discovery, empowering engagement, and actionable advice relative to their individual goals. To date, we’ve worked with over 50 clients to design, develop, and produce custom apparel concepts and launch their brands.
While we specialize in womenswear, we love working on new ideas and niche products — including soft accessories, bags, and even pet apparel! We’re here to collaborate with you and your team like a true partner, sharing our industry expertise to help start your apparel brand, grow your product line, and ultimately bring the best version of your vision to life.
